The Year 5 students attended the Darebin Schools NAIDOC Yarning Conference on Tuesday October 10, 2023 at
Bundoora Park Farm. The Yarning Conference is a chance for primary school students to learn about Aboriginal culture and history, directly from Aboriginal Elders and organisations. From learning language, to caring for Country, to truth-telling, to dance, to art, to music, to taking action and so much more. Aboriginal Elders and
community leaders took students on a fun and powerful learning journey, to become leaders and change makers themselves.
