Our Year 3/4 students had a great time exploring Scienceworks. The students participated in a science show using audio-visual equipment and interactive demonstrations to explain the Earth’s rotation and the effects on the day and night cycle. Students also viewed a Planetarium show called ‘Tilt’ that explored how the four seasons are caused by the tilt of the Earth’s axis combined with the Earth’s orbit around the Sun and how the seasons and length of day vary across the Earth, from the poles to the equator.
